Although it is certainly not required, having the person in charge of your ceremony music at your rehearsal can help you get a better idea for how your wedding will go. It also helps that person figure out what their ques will be for changing and fading songs. The rehearsal is meant to put your mind at ease and feel confident that everyone involved knows what they will be doing and when.
